Mapleton Hall hosts Country Markets in historic setting
Did you know that the originial Mapleton Hall opened its doors in 1910? Unfortunately it was destroyed by bushfire and a second hall was rebuilt and opened in 1916 by the settlers and local community.
Over a hundred years later, the Hall and Sportsground now host a monthly Country Market on the fourth Saturday of each month, from 8am-noon, with the first market for the year starting on Saturday February 27.
The markets feature local produce, hand-made gifts, plants, crafts, art, bric-a-brac, fashions, refreshments, entertainment and onsite parking.
“A favourite with marketgoers are the delicious Waffles with ice cream and fruit, and the terrific entertainment from local musos,” said organiser Donna Klease. “Come along and join us, all funds raised go towards the maintenance and upkeep of this Historic 104 year old treasure.”
